Microsoft veröffentlicht mit dem Patchtag im November 2017 Sicherheitsupdates für mehrere Produkte.
Sicherheitsupdates stehen unter anderem für den Browser Edge und dessen Bestandteil Chakra Core, für die derzeit unterstützten Versionen des Internet Explorers, für Microsoft Office, Excel und Word (auch für macOS), Microsoft Office Services, Web Apps, den Sharepoint-Server, die Entwicklungsplattformen .NET und ASP.NET sowie alle aktuell unterstützten Windows-Versionen zur Verfügung.

Das Sicherheitsupdate für den Adobe Flash Player muss für jeden Browser, den Sie verwenden, einzeln und möglicherweise händisch eingespielt werden.
Lediglich der Internet Explorer und Edge können das Update automatisch erhalten.
